Dindori to get Rs. 37 crore water supply project.

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has chalked out a multi-crore water supply project for the proposed additional industrial estate coming up at Dindori, about 18 kms from Nashik.

The new additional industrial estate of the MIDC is coming up at Talegaon and Akrale villages in Dindori tehsil by December end this year. The new industrial estate is proposed on 500 acres of land. The MIDC has already acquired 250 acres and the remaining 250 acres are in final stage of acquisition. Accordingly, the MIDC has started planning for the infrastructure and other facilities like roads, streetlights and water at the industrial estate.

'We have already floated a tender for demarcation survey to prepare the layout. The tender process is expected to be completed in a month. Our priority is to develop the new industrial estate in Dindori at the earliest,' said a senior MIDC official.
