DSC approves 60 uplift schemes in Khanewal

Khanewal: As many as 60 development schemes costing Rs 64 million will be executed in the district.

The schemes were approved by the District Steering Committee (DSC) at a meeting chaired by MPA Mehr Aamir Hayat Haraj.

Six uplift projects were approved for constituency PP: 212, three schemes for PP: 213, and seven for PP: 214, while Rs eight millions will be spent in each constituency including PP: 215, 216, 217 and 218.

DCO Qazi Muhammad Ishfaq has directed local government departments to provide every possible assistance in executing the uplift works. He also apprised the meeting about the pace of work on different development schemes under process.
