Essel Infra awarded three waste-to-energy (WTE) projects in Andhra

Essel Infraprojects Ltd (EIL) has been awarded three waste-to-energy (WTE) projects in Kadapa, Anantapur and Tadepalligudem. In turn, EIL has awarded the contract to Hitachi Zosen India for delivery of the projects.

The contract has been executed between Hitachi Zosen India, a group company of Hitachi Zosen Corp which is known as a leading WTE plant and engineering major and special purpose companies owned and operated by Essel Infraprojects Ltd.

Each of the plants comprises one R-Grate type waste combustor and flue gas treatment systems with a processing capacity of 330 tonnes per day and a power output of approximately 6,000 KW.
