Gadkari to Launch NH Road Works.

Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari will lay the foundation stone for development and upgradation of NH-218 (Vijayapura-Kalaburagi-Humnabad section) and NH-234 (Madhugiri-Gowribidnur-Chikballapur-Chintamani-Mulbagal section) in the city on soon.

The works will be implemented by the National Highways Authority of India. The works include the upgradation of NH-218 (New NH-50) to two-lane along with paved shoulders from 195 km to 418 km under

National Highways Development Project phase- 4. While, the NH-234 (New NH-69) will have rehabilitation and upgradation works with paved shoulders.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be the chief guest at the ceremony and Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Ananth Kumar, Law Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, state ministers G M Siddeshwara and H C Mahadevappa will be the guests of honour.
