Godawari Power and Ispat Commences 6.91 MW Waste Heat Recovery Power Generation.
Godawari Power and Ispat Limited has announced the commencement of commercial operations of its 6.91 MW waste heat recovery-based power plant with effect from June 23, 2026.
The facility has been developed to utilise waste heat from flue gases generated by the company’s Pellet Plant and Ferro Alloys Division. It is located at the company’s integrated steel plant in the Siltara Industrial Area of Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The project is part of the company’s efforts to improve energy efficiency by recovering waste heat and converting it into usable power within its existing industrial operations.
