"GreenLine to Supply LNG-Powered Vehicles to Sterlite Copper"

GreenLine Mobility Solutions, a key player in Essar’s Green Mobility initiative, has partnered with Sterlite Copper, a subsidiary of Vedanta, to introduce liquefied natural gas (LNG)-powered vehicles to decarbonise Sterlite Copper's transportation operations at its Silvassa plant.

The LNG-powered trucks will be used to transport finished goods to the northern region, utilizing a reverse logistics model. With a capacity to carry up to 40 tonnes and a range of 1,200 km on a single tank, these vehicles will improve logistics efficiency while reducing carbon emissions.

Anand Mimani, CEO of GreenLine Mobility Solutions, emphasized that the partnership showcases the company’s commitment to decarbonizing transportation and driving sustainability through innovative solutions.

GreenLine serves various industries, including cement, steel, metal and mining, FMCG, express cargo, oil and gas, chemicals, and consumer goods.
