Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. updates on restoration of Unit-2 of SLPP.

Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. had earlier announced regarding restoration of Unit - 2 (125 MW) of Surat Lignite Power Plant (SLPP) of the Company situated at Village Nani Naroli, Taluka Mangrol, District: Surat.

The amount of Material Damage is around Rs.6.16 crores and the amount of Loss of Profit accounted for in the books during F.Y 2020-21 is around Rs.17.25 crores and the same to be accounted for in the books of accounts in the current year, i.e. FY 2021-22 is around Rs.9.95 crores.

The Company's property is covered for both, material damage and loss of profit, under Industrial All Risk Policy and therefore, the aforesaid material damage and the loss of profit, both are covered under Insurance.
