GVK to use HSD for its gas based power plant in East Godavari

GVK Group to run its gas based power plant in East Godavari with diesel as an alternate fuel to generate power. This decision has come as as gas supplies from Reliance D-6 block is fast dwindling.

The company has received approval from the Ministry of Environment and Forests to use HSD in the interim till full natural gas supply is made available.
