Hallmark Group to set up 50 MW solar power plant in Tamil Nadu.

Real estate developer Hallmark has made a foray into the renewable energy sector and plans to set up a 50 MW solar power plant in Tamil Nadu.

'Hallmark has also ventured into the energy sector and there are plans to start a 50 MW solar power plant in Tamil Nadu', the company said in a statement.

On the real estate front, Hallmark Group has completed over 0.5 million square foot of construction activities and has set a target to construct over 10 million square foot over the next four years.

The company's upcoming project Hallmark Emerald was launched recently by popular film actress Hansika Motwani.

Hallmark Emerald would come up on a 6.82 acre land at Singaperumal Kovil near Chennai. It would have 860 apartment of 11 to 18 floors with single and double bed room units.

The apartments range from Rs. 28 lakh, the release said and added that the delivery of the project was expected to happen by December.

The company is eyeing generate revenue of Rs. 450 crore from this project, the release said
