Hiland Group ties up with painter Paresh Maity for Tagore theme project in Santiniketan.

City based real estate major Hiland Group is tying up with painter Paresh Maity to come up with the group's Tagore-inspired residential project at Santiniketan. Christened Bonochhaya, the themed project would see investments to the tune of Rs. 100 crores.

The project would include villas and row houses in a 12-acre gated community. In the first phase, the project will have 35 exclusive villas and 167 row houses which will cost between Rs. 30 lakh to Rs. 55 lakh.

'This is the country's first project in which an artist of Paresh Maity's stature will be directly involved in the conceptualization and aesthetics. Inhabitants of Bonochhaya will be able to enjoy the artist's creative vision with installations and shared spaces showcasing unique works of art,' said Mr Nandu Belani, Director of the Hiland Group.

'I plan to use a lot of locally available materials and showcase local talent in Bonochhaya through large-size installations, murals etc. This will be a one-of-its-kind project,' said Paresh Maity.

To do justice to the theme and make the project unique, the residents would have the option for walking through Paresh Maity's work that would include sketches around the theme of Bonochhaya. There would also be murals and installations of the artist all across the project for people to enjoy at the site.
