Infosys to operationalise 2nd city campus by June.

Infosys, India's second largest IT services company, will operationalize its second campus in Odisha by June end, this year, at the upcoming Info Valley complex, on the outskirt of Bhubaneswar, where the IT major is the anchor tenant.

'The IT major will start operation at its centre located at Info Valley with 1000 head counts initially. The matter was discussed at an inter-departmental high powered project monitoring committee', sources said.

This will be the second campus of Infosys in the city after its software development centre at Infocity, another IT cluster built in late 1990s.

The company has been allotted about 50 acres of land in the Info Valley complex, which is being developed by Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Idco), spreading over 500 acres of land.
