J.Kumar - SMC Joint Venture, a collaborative effort between J.Kumar Infraprojects Limited and SMC Infrastructures Private Limited, has been awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. The LOA is for the construction of a creek bridge connecting Ghansoli to Airoli along Palm Beach Road in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai. The project, to be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, comes with a total contract value of Rs. 492,99,04,656 (excluding GST).

Under the terms of the agreement, J.Kumar - SMC (JV) will undertake the project, with J.Kumar Infraprojects Limited holding a 70% share in the venture. This translates to a contract value of Rs. 345,09,33,259 (excluding GST) for J.Kumar Infraprojects Limited.

The project holds significant importance for the development of infrastructure in Navi Mumbai, facilitating better connectivity between Ghansoli and Airoli along the crucial Palm Beach Road.
