Jindal Drilling gets new order from ONGC

Mumbai: Jindal Drilling & Industries said it has bagged an order worth Rs 850 crore from state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for hiring a rig for a period of three years.

The drilling firm said that the rig is likely to get deployed in the next month.

With this contract, the order book of the company stood at Rs 3,700 crore.

Earlier in October, the company had bagged an order amounting to Rs 810 crore for leasing its rig to ONGC. It had deployed a jack-up rig for ONGC in the west coast offshore.
