Karnataka government to revive stalled infra projects.
The Karnataka government is planning to revive a slew of pending infrastructure projects, including one for a high-speed rail network and another for the development of an international convention centre near Kempegowda International Airport near Devanahalli.
According to the state Infrastructure Minister, Mr Roshan Baig, the state government is exploring the option of having high-speed rail connectivity across the state in a bid to decongest important cities and towns.
Mr Baig said that 'The high-speed rail project is being explored to connect Bengaluru-Mysore, Bengaluru-Kolar, Bengaluru-Hubli and other important towns to solve the problem of decongestion.'
