"Larsen & Toubro Acquires 1.20 Crore Units of National Highways Infra Trust"

Engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro Ltd executed a significant transaction on Wednesday by purchasing 1.20 crore units of National Highways Infra Trust for Rs 149.65 crore through an open market transaction. The National Highways Infra Trust functions as an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) sponsored by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

According to bulk deal data accessible through the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Larsen & Toubro acquired 1.20 crore units, constituting an 11.02 percent unitholding in the National Highways Infra Trust.

These units were acquired at an average price of Rs 124.71 per unit, amounting to a total deal value of Rs 149.65 crore.

The details regarding the sellers of the National Highways Infra Trust units remain undisclosed at present.
