"Lloyds Banking Group Launches Technology Center in Hyderabad"

Lloyds Banking Group, one of the United Kingdom's largest financial services organizations, has officially commenced operations at its newly established Lloyds Technology Centre (LTC) in Knowledge City, Hyderabad.

The LTC will play a pivotal role in advancing AI, Cloud, and Blockchain initiatives across the organization. The initial teams based at the center will focus on leveraging data, machine learning, and Cloud technology to enhance support for the Group's customers in the UK. In pursuit of this objective, the center will embark on a recruitment drive to fill a range of specialized roles, including Full Stack, Java Back-End, REACT, Cloud Engineers, and Quality Engineers.

The long-term vision for the LTC is to transform it into a hub for modern engineering excellence, playing a key role in supporting the Group's technology transformation efforts.

Ron van Kemenade, Group Chief Operating Officer at Lloyds Banking Group, described the opening of the LTC as a pivotal moment in the organization's transformation journey. He highlighted that the center, strategically located in Hyderabad's technology hub, is set to become a focal point for innovation and engineering excellence.

Sirisha Voruganti, CEO and Managing Director of Lloyds Technology Centre, acknowledged Hyderabad's abundance of tech talent and its role as a global innovation epicenter. She expressed pride in being part of this thriving ecosystem with the establishment of the Lloyds Technology Centre.

It's worth noting that the LTC's primary focus will not be banking services. Instead, it will harness technology, digital, data, and analytics capabilities to drive innovation and end-to-end product delivery.
