L&T Construction bags Rs. 4,033-crore worth orders.

The buildings and factories business of infrastructure major L&T Construction has bagged a major order for construction of residential towers under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme in Andhra Pradesh.

According to the company's regulatory filing, the 1,125 numbers of residential towers of G+3 floors will be build at Visakhapatnam, Prakasam, Guntur and Krishna districts in Andhra Pradesh within stringent timelines.

The business has secured another order from a leading cement manufacturer for the construction of cement plants in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh and an order from a government body to establish a cancer institute along with the supply, installation and commissioning of medical equipment in Patna, Bihar, the company said.
