L&T Secures Major Contract to Construct Twin 47-Storey Office Towers at Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh

21 October 2026: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a major construction contract from the Government of Andhra Pradesh to develop two high-rise office towers flanking the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre in Amaravati. The project will be executed by L&T’s Public Spaces, Airports & Health business vertical under a design-and-build arrangement. Each proposed tower will comprise a basement, ground floor and 47 upper floors, with a combined built-up area of approximately 37.5 lakh square feet. L&T’s scope includes design, engineering and construction of the shell and core structures, with completion scheduled within 30 months. The development forms part of Andhra Pradesh’s broader initiative to establish Amaravati as a modern administrative and technology hub. The proposed office towers are expected to strengthen commercial infrastructure, accommodate technology-driven enterprises, support research activities and contribute to the development of Amaravati’s emerging quantum computing ecosystem and capital city infrastructure
