Marriott to Launch Luxury Edition Hotel with 182 Rooms in Mumbai.
Marriott International is set to introduce its luxury Edition brand in India, aiming to capitalize on the rising demand for premium accommodations. The hospitality giant announced that the first property under this brand, The Mumbai EDITION, will open in 2028. Located in the bustling Bandra Kurla Complex, the 182-room hotel will be developed in partnership with Prestige Falcon Realty Ventures Pvt Ltd.
Rajeev Menon, President of Marriott International for Asia Pacific (excluding China), emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its luxury portfolio in India. “The signing reflects our dedication to enhancing our presence in India's luxury market while responding to the growing demand for high-end accommodations and experiences,” he said. Menon added that Marriott will continue its strategic growth by aligning its brands with destinations that meet evolving guest preferences.
Marriott currently operates over 150 hotels in India, offering more than 29,000 rooms across 17 distinct brands.
