Maruti Plant Inauguration by PMs of India and Japan a 'Greatest Possible Honour', Says T. Suzuki.

Suzuki Motor Corp President Toshihiro Suzuki recently said the joint inauguration of Maruti Suzuki India's Kharkhoda manufacturing plant by the prime ministers of India and Japan was "the greatest possible honour for Suzuki in India" and underscored the company's responsibility towards India's Viksit Bharat vision.

The fourth manufacturing facility of Maruti Suzuki India, located in Haryana's Kharkhoda, was inaugurated virtually on Thursday by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi during the India-Japan Joint Economic Forum in New Delhi.

"It was the greatest possible honour for Suzuki in India when both the Hon'ble Prime Ministers of India and Japan inaugurated our Kharkhoda plant yesterday," Toshihiro Suzuki, who is also Representative Director of Suzuki Motor Corp, the parent company of Maruti Suzuki India, said in a statement.

He said the inauguration further strengthened the company's commitment to contributing to India's economic development and the government's Viksit Bharat initiative.
