Medanta Group to invest Rs. 1,500 cr in next five years.

Medanta Group recently said it is working on a plan to set up five hospitals in next five years with an investment of Rs. 1,500 crore.

'We have a plan to open five hospitals in next five years with an investment Rs. 1,500 crore,' Medanta Group Founder Chairman Naresh Trehan told reporters after inauguration of their super-speciality hospital.

The renowned cardiac surgeon said they want to open their ultra-modern hospitals in Lucknow, Patna, Jaipur, Mumbai and abroad as well.

He said they have invested more than Rs. 60 crore to start the 160-bedded hospital here and have plans to expand it to a 500-bed unit in next 2-3 years with an estimated investment of Rs. 600 crore.
