MEIL Plans ₹40,000 Crore Capex in 3 Years, Eyes ₹2 Lakh Crore Topline by FY31.
Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL) Group plans to invest up to ₹40,000 crore in capital expenditure over the next two to three years as it targets a topline of ₹2 lakh crore within five years, Managing Director P.V. Krishna Reddy said.
Reddy also said the infrastructure major intends to take one of its subsidiaries public every couple of years, beginning with electric mobility arm Evey Trans Pvt Ltd. The company plans to subsequently list its defence and gas distribution businesses, among others.
Established in 2018, Evey Trans is India's only 100 per cent electric bus operator. The company operates electric bus fleets across several cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Surat, Silvassa, Goa, Hyderabad, Dehradun and Nagpur.
