Microsoft to fund 3 NGOs for IT access in rural reas
Bangalore: Microsoft India has announced a funding of Rs 1.9 crore to three NGOs for facilitating IT access in urban slums and rural areas. The NGOs are Saath Charitable Trust, Smile Foundation and Nasscom Foundation. As part of its ‘Unlimited Potential-Community Technology Skills Programme’, Microsoft has invested Rs 37.5 crore till now, according to company press release.
