In a major boost to UP's efforts for attracting foreign investment amid the Covid crisis, Microsoft India has agreed to open up its first campus in Uttar Pradesh. So far Microsoft has its campuses in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

This was announced by Microsoft India Development Centre MD Rajiv Kumar at a video-conference with MSME minister Sidharth Nath Singh who also holds foreign investment and export promotion portfolios. Singh has been holding virtual road shows to interact with the global industry, offering it various incentives to set up their establishments in the state.
