Mitsu Chem Plast to Expand Annual Capacity by 655 Tonnes to Meet Growing OEM Demand.

Polymer solutions provider Mitsu Chem Plast Ltd has announced plans to increase its annual production capacity by 655 tonnes across its existing facilities, aiming to strengthen supply and cater to growing demand from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

The expansion will raise the company’s total operational capacity from 28,424 tonnes to approximately 29,079 tonnes per year, enabling faster turnaround times and better responsiveness to new product requirements. Mitsu Chem specializes in blow-moulded and injection-moulded polymer products.

The capacity enhancement is part of Mitsu’s broader growth strategy to meet rising market demand, bolster its manufacturing capabilities, and pursue its long-term target of achieving ₹1,000 crore in annual revenues by 2028.
