The tendering process of the much-awaited 23-storey multi-level parking project at Botanical Garden Metro station will be delayed by a month. According to officials, the technical and financial bids were to be finalized soon, but they have received only two bids so far. With the minimum requirement for a bid to be successfully completed being three applicants, the Authority has extended the date for receiving the bids till June 30. The project is estimated to cost Rs. 480 crore, and proposed to house nearly 7,388 vehicles. Once construction begins, the facility is expected to be ready in three years.

The 70-metre-high building will sprawl across 19,500 sq metres and will have 13 floors dedicated for commercial use including retail and office space. The rest of the area will be utilized for parking vehicles. 'Clearances from IIT-Delhi are already in place for the facility, which will be semi-automatic and built across 10 floors including two basements, of the building,' said S C Mishra, Noida's project engineer, Work Circle-2.
