Mysore ORR to be ready by next March.

The ongoing work on the outer ring road (ORR) of Mysore will be completed by March 2015.

The work taken up under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Reconstruction Mission (JNNURM), is being executed by the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA). Its Commissioner S Palaiah inspected the progress of the work recently.

Except for a small missing link of about 900 metres that passes through the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) at Bandipalya in the city, the rest of the work will be completed as schedule. The road passes through the APMC and it had agreed to give the required eight acres for the ring road in exchange for alternate land.
