Nagpur-Mumbai Super Communication Expressway project contract awarded

Meanwhile 10 of the contracts for the Nagpur-Mumbai Super Communication Expressway (NMSCE) have now been awarded. The project is expected to cost a total of Rs. 4000 Crore to construct.

Megha Engineering was awarded two stretches of the NMSCE route, for the Nagpur Package 1 and Aurangabad East Package 9.

A contract worth Rs.165 crore was awarded by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) to Dilip Buildcon for part of the NMSCE.

Other contractors that have won contracts to build sections of the route are; APCO, BSCPL, Gayatri Projects, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), MonteCarlo, NCC, PNC Infratech, Reliance Infrastructure, Sadbhav Engineering, Wardha Afcons.

The tender process is still underway for remaining three sections of the project.
