NTPC commences commercial operation of 15 MW Solar PV Power Station at Singrauli.

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has commenced commercial operation of 15 MW Solar PV Power Station at Singrauli with effect from December 31, 2014. With this, the total capacity of non-conventional energy projects of NTPC has become 110 MW and the total commissioned and commercial capacity of NTPC group has become 43143 MW and 42643 MW respectively.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
