Paras Healthcare Breaks Ground on New 300-Bed Hospital Facility

Paras Healthcare, a leading corporate hospital chain, has laid the foundation stone for a new 300-bed hospital in Gurugram, with the project slated for completion in 2026. This expansion will double the company's total bed capacity in Gurugram to around 600 beds and mark its second hospital in the National Capital Region.

With this new addition, Paras Health will operate a total of nine hospitals across North India, Bihar, and Jharkhand. The hospital chain plans to continue focusing on key specializations, including Oncology, Gastroenterology, Neuro Sciences, Cardiac Sciences, Orthopaedics, and Transplant Programmes.

The forthcoming hospital will be outfitted with cutting-edge medical technology such as Robotic and Navigation systems, catering to both international and domestic patients. The advanced facility aims to uphold Paras Health's core principles of compassion, accessibility, affordability, and quality, said Dr. Dharminder Kumar Nagar, Managing Director of Paras Health.

In addition to existing kidney and bone marrow transplant programmes, the new hospital will introduce Organ Transplant programmes for lungs and livers. The expanded capacity will also boost the hospital chain's cancer care services, meeting the growing healthcare demands in the Gurugram region.

Founded in 2006, Paras Healthcare offers multi-specialty tertiary care services across six states in eight cities, with hospitals in Gurugram, Patna, Panchkula, Kanpur, Ranchi, Udaipur, Srinagar, and Darbhanga, comprising over 2,000 beds. Its key specialties include Cardiac Sciences, Neuro Sciences, Orthopaedics, Oncology, and Gastroenterology.

The expansion marks a significant step in Paras Healthcare's commitment to providing accessible and quality healthcare services in India, while the introduction of new advanced technologies underscores the chain's drive toward innovation in the healthcare sector.
