Prime Minister Narendra Modi Set to Inaugurate Projects Worth Rs 68,400 Crore in Odisha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha on Saturday afternoon to unveil a series of projects worth Rs. 68,400 crore in the state, officials reported. The highlight of the event is the inauguration of the new campus of IIM-Sambalpur, a Rs. 400-crore investment in education infrastructure.

PM Modi is expected to land at Jharsuguda airport around 1 pm and will then proceed to the IIM-Sambalpur campus. Joining him at the inauguration will be Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Governor Raghubar Das, and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

In addition to the IIM-Sambalpur campus, the prime minister will unveil a slew of infrastructure projects valued at Rs 68,000 crore. These projects encompass various sectors, including power, roads, and railways, contributing significantly to the state's development.

A public meeting is scheduled for 3 pm at Remed Ground, where Prime Minister Modi is expected to address the citizens before departing for Guwahati, according to officials. Rigorous security measures have been put in place to ensure a smooth and secure visit by the Prime Minister to Odisha.
