Punjab to build 50 MW solar energy power plant

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Punjab government was undertaking a comprehensive plan to establish 50 MW solar energy power plants in the province. This was revealed in a information received from Punjab Government.

According to the information, the CM has assured Hong Kong Independent Power Producers Forum that the government would buy all electricity produced by them in the province. Shahbaz invited Hong Kong Independent Power Producers to visit Pakistan and personally examine the investment opportunities existed there.

During his five-day visit, Shahbaz met businessmen, bankers and educationists and urged them to investment in the Country.
