"Railway Overbridges and Underpass Set to Be Completed by December, States Raghavendra"

B.Y. Raghavendra, Member of Parliament, offered assurance that the construction of railway overbridges and underpasses in the city, totaling ₹120 crore in expenses, is well on track for completion by December of this year.

Mr. Raghavendra made this announcement while speaking to journalists following his inspection of the railway overbridge on Savalanga Road, an event conducted alongside city officials on Thursday. He highlighted the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Railways and the State government in taking on the construction of railway overbridges at key locations, including Savalanga Road, Sominakoppa, Vidya Nagar, and Bhadravati.

The construction of the flyover at Sominakoppa has already been successfully finished, with the remaining works slated for completion in the near future. "We are optimistic that these projects will be finalized promptly, allowing vehicular traffic to utilize them by December of this year. These initiatives are expected to significantly enhance the city's traffic flow," Mr. Raghavendra affirmed.
