Remsons Industries, a renowned player in automotive cables and shifters, has joined forces with Aircom Group AG from Switzerland to establish a joint venture named Aircom Remsons Automotive Pvt Ltd (ARAPL). This strategic move aims to delve into the burgeoning market of tire mobility solutions.

ARAPL will specialize in the production and distribution of innovative tire mobility kits, catering to the evolving needs of the automotive sector. By introducing these cutting-edge puncture kits and associated components, Remsons Industries anticipates a substantial surge in its market share, particularly in supplying OEMs.

The joint venture has its sights set on transitioning these products to the consumer market (B2C). This shift aligns with the trend observed among luxury car manufacturers who are increasingly opting for tire mobility kits over traditional spare tires. This transition not only enhances convenience but also contributes to reducing vehicle weight, thereby potentially boosting fuel efficiency.

Rahul Kejriwal, Executive Director of Remsons Industries, expressed optimism about the partnership with Aircom Group, a prominent player in the European market. Kejriwal emphasized the pivotal role these tire mobility solutions will play, encompassing repair kits, sealants, air compressors, and other accessories aimed at preventing punctures across various tire types.
