RKEC bags infra projects worth Rs. 100 crore.

RKEC Projects, an infrastructure company specialising in civil and defence construction, has bagged orders worth Rs. 100 crore in the last two months.

The company received an order for the construction of berth and approach trestle for development of barge/vessel loading facility at Honnavar in Karnataka. The total contract value of this order was Rs. 81 crore. Under Smart City mission in Tirupati, it has received two projects worth Rs. 20 crore. The company will rejuvenate Vinayak Sagar lake by cleaning and beautifying the areas near the lake, besides maintaining the work for five years.

The second contract worth Rs. 12 crore is for design, execution, operation and maintenance of sports arena at Indira Maidan and Sri Srinivasa Sports complex.

G Radhakrishna, Chairman, RKEC Projects, said the government is taking initiatives to boost the infrastructure sector tenders are being floated in highways and urban development space.
