Rotolok Valves commissions bulk handling unit in Sri City.
Rotolok Valves, a subsidiary company of the UK-based Rotolok Holdings Ltd., recentlyinaugurated a manufacturing plant at Sri City, its first production unit in India.
Sean Swales, Group Managing Director, Rotolok Holdings, commissioned the production plant in the presence of Sujith Thomas, Senior Adviser, UK Trade & Investment.
Speaking on the occasion, Sean Swales said: 'The investment made at this site in machinery, equipment and people will allow our British design and quality standards to combine with competitive Indian manufacturing costs to produce rotary valves and other bulk handling equipment of superb value.'
Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City, said: “This marks the Rotolok's 'Make in India' journey. As part of Rotolok's on-going global expansion, the new unit will be the source of the complete range of solid handling components in Indian market.”
The facility, equipped with all the latest CNC machinery, was built on a two-acre plot located adjacent to an Alstom facility.
It will produce powder and bulk material handling products, such as rotary airlocks, diverter valves, slide valves, big bag systems, conveyors and discharge units.
This highly automated unit employs 30 persons.
Founded in 1972, Rotolok manufactures bulk solid handling equipment.
It is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of a broad range of products including rotary airlocks, diverter and slide valves, big bag systems, conveyors and discharge units.
These products are used for arduous duty applications in chemical, food processing, mining and oil & gas sectors.
