RRP Semiconductor Wins ₹440 Crore Solar Project Order from Telecrown Infratech.

RRP Semiconductor, a prominent player in the semiconductor and renewable energy sectors, has secured a ₹440 crore order from Pune-based Telecrown Infratech. The order involves the supply and import of essential materials, including silicon solar cells, melted silicon crystals, and polycrystalline materials, for the installation of 106 MW of solar power PV modules across various sites in Maharashtra.

This project enhances RRP Semiconductor’s presence in the renewable energy sector, particularly in solar power solutions. Sumita Mishra, Managing Director of RRP Semiconductor, noted that India is currently a net importer of these critical products, and this order represents a significant step toward providing high-quality silicon crystalline PV modules domestically.

"We are focused on building a strong reputation in both the solar and semiconductor industries, particularly in silicon cell production. This partnership also allows us to expand our service offerings into areas like OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test), Chip on Glass, NAND Flash, and memory modules,” Mishra added.
