Shell evinces interest in developing LNG terminal at PQA

Karachi: A team of Shell International has shown keen interest in setting up a Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) terminal in the proximity of Port Qasim Authority (PQA).

In a statement issued here on Wednesday says that a six-member Shell delegation was led by Louis Stone (Civil Structural Engineer, Houston Texas), Syed Abdi (Marine Facilitation Advisor, London), Paul D. Arey and Riaz Kamlani (Business Development Advisor, Dubai), Saleem Piracha (GM Business Strategy) and Ejaz Alam (Operation Engineer Manager, Pakistan).

The delegation was briefed on the operation and performance status of PQA. The delegation evinced keen interest in setting up of the LNG Terminal at the Port Qasim and gave a presentation on various options of setting up the facility.
