Shyam Metalics Aims to Double Export Revenue to $300 Million by 2031.

Integrated metal producer Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd. has announced plans to double its export revenue to $300 million by 2031, as part of a broader growth strategy outlined in a stock exchange filing recently.

The Kolkata-based company, which currently exports to 25 countries, is also aiming for a 2.5-fold jump in its overall revenue, targeting approximately ₹40,000 crore by the end of the decade. This ambitious growth plan will be driven by capacity expansion, diversification of export markets, and a refined product mix.

To support this growth, Shyam Metalics—currently the sixth-largest steel producer in India—plans to ramp up its total production capacity from 15 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) to 27 mtpa. The expansion will span both intermediate and finished steel products, reinforcing the company’s integrated production capabilities and global competitiveness.
