Start-up incubator T-Hub launches DeepTech Arcade.

T-Hub, a start-up incubator, has launched the DeepTech Arcade programme in association with Ambuja Neotia, a Kolkata-based entity with interests in different sectors such as realty, hospitality. and healthcare.

“DeepTech Arcade is conceived as part of our Arcade Series of programmes, which help corporates and start-ups explore possible collaborations,” Ravi Narayan, CEO, T-Hub, has said.

DeepTech Aracade will focus on start-ups working in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, deep learning, and cognitive and natural language processing (NLP).

The start-ups shortlisted to pitch and showcase demonstrations at DeepTech Arcade on Friday included Mapmygenome, Healthkon, Teric.ai, minto.ai, NanoHealth, Kenyt.ai and Virtual Raasta.

“This programme will help corporates to identify innovative solutions for real estate, healthcare, education, sports, entertainment, fintech, cleantech, hospitality, IoT and smart utilities,” Narayan said.

Apart from Ambuja Neotia, companies such as TCS, Intel, Qualcomm, Tech Mahindra, UST Global, DBS, HDFC Bank, Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), Honeywell, and Salesforce assessed the set of DeepTech start-ups at T-Hub on Friday.

“These corporates could handpick start-ups to collaborate, license, buy out their products, or on-board them as vendors,” a T-Hub executive said.
