TACC Limited to Invest ₹2,438 Crore in Battery Anode Material Manufacturing Facility in Madhya Pradesh
TACC Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of HEG Advanced Materials Limited, has received government approval for its proposed ₹2,438 crore battery anode material manufacturing project at Sirsoda Industrial Area, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh.
The approval, announced on 6 November 2026 under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology's Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), includes an incentive of ₹609.50 crore, subject to prescribed conditions.
The facility will manufacture anode materials used in lithium-ion battery cells, supporting India's expanding electric vehicle, renewable energy storage and advanced battery manufacturing industries.
The investment is expected to strengthen domestic battery material supply chains, reduce import dependence and create opportunities for engineering, industrial equipment and technology suppliers.
The project forms part of 12 ECMS approvals involving combined proposed investments of ₹7,503 crore, reinforcing India's ambition to develop an integrated electronics and battery manufacturing ecosystem.
