Talbros Automotive's NSE Shares Hit Upper Circuit as JV Secures ₹1,000 Crore Contract
Shares of Talbros Automotive Components Ltd (TACL) experienced a notable surge following the announcement that its joint venture company secured a substantial order from a European OEM.
The stock soared, hitting the upper circuit on the NSE, trading at ₹294.60, marking an increase of 4.99 per cent.
The joint venture, Marelli Talbros Chassis Systems Pvt Ltd (MTCS), clinched a multi-year contract valued at ₹1,000 crore. The contract is set to be executed over eight years, starting from Q4 FY25.
This significant order revolves around the supply of suspension arms tailored for both conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and electric vehicle (EV) platforms, catering to the EMEA and NAFTA regions. Production will take place at the Pune plant of MTCS, with a capex investment of ₹65 crore earmarked for FY25 to support the project's requirements.
