Tata Housing enters Sri Lanka.

Tata Housing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Sons, has announced a mixed use township project at Colombo in Sri Lanka, in partnership with UDA (Urban Development Authority) of Sri Lanka for an investment of over Rs. 2,400 crore.

The company plans to begin construction of residences for rehabilitation of the current tenants in the first phase, and also launch a mix use development project at slave Island in Colombo. Nimal Parera , Chairman, UDA said: 'This first redevelopment project under the PPP model will provide a better quality of life for the current tenants of slave island.'
