Tenneco Clean Air Plans Growth Through Acquisitions and Increased R&D Spend.
Tenneco Clean Air India Ltd, part of the US-based Tenneco, is preparing for its next phase of expansion with plans spanning acquisitions, capacity additions and a stronger focus on research and development. The company is targeting sustained double-digit growth over the next three to four years, according to its top leadership.
As part of its growth strategy, the company is setting up a new manufacturing facility in Kharkhoda, Haryana, with an investment of ₹71 crore. The upcoming plant is expected to enhance its footprint in North India and cater to demand from the light vehicle and tractor segments. Chief Executive Officer and Whole-Time Director Arvind Chandra shared the details while speaking at the company’s facility in Hosur.
In addition, sources indicated that the company is considering further investment in its Hosur plant to introduce a new product line for shock absorbers. However, specific details regarding the proposed fund infusion were not disclosed by the company.
