New Delhi: Tata Group subsidiary Titan Eye Plus is looking for a more than six-fold expansion of its operations by having 300 stores across 100 cities of the country by 2011.

'We started our first showroom in April 2007 and currently have 42 showrooms across the country. Our plans is to have 300 showrooms across 100 cities by 2011,' Titan Eye Plus Managing Director S Ravikant said on the sidelines of the Franchise India 2008 Summit here.

Titan Eye Plus, which offers full eye-ware range, is also targeting a turnover of Rs 400 crore by 2011.

He, however, refused to disclose the investment figures for the company's expansion.

Ravikant said that the estimated Rs 1,500 crore Indian eye-ware market is growing between 15-20 per cent annually, 'the organised eye-ware market is still at an infant stage and we want to expand into it with our entire range of eye-ware products, including lenses, sunglasses and frames'.
