"V-Guard Consumer Products Ltd Begins Battery Production at Hyderabad Facility"

V-Guard Consumer Products Limited (VCPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of V-Guard Industries Limited, has officially commenced commercial production of batteries at its advanced manufacturing plant in Hyderabad. The inauguration of production operations took place on February 12, 2024.

The project required an investment of approximately ₹35 crores, which was financed through internal accruals. The newly established manufacturing facility boasts an impressive installed capacity of 3.60 lakh units per annum.
