Vedanta Aluminium Expands Partnerships, Signs Agreements with Two Downstream Firms.

Vedanta Aluminium has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Singhal Steel & Power and SCOT-AL Metcon to set up downstream aluminium manufacturing facilities at its upcoming Aluminium Park in Jharsuguda.

The Vedanta Aluminium Park is designed to boost value addition in the aluminium sector while supporting the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The initiative is also expected to strengthen Odisha’s standing as a global hub for aluminium production and downstream industries.

According to the company, the project is likely to attract fresh investments of over ₹500 crore and generate around 1,500 direct and indirect employment opportunities in the state.
