"Waaree Energies Secures 150 MW Solar Module Order".

Waaree Energies Ltd announced on Thursday that it has received a significant order for the supply of solar modules for a 150 MW renewable power project. The order comes from a prominent customer involved in developing, owning, and operating renewable power projects across India.

The contract includes Waaree’s high-efficiency Glass N-type Topcon bifacial solar modules, rated at 585/590Wp. These modules are recognized for their durability, superior energy output, and advanced technology, according to a company statement.

The modules are scheduled for delivery in the 2025-26 financial year, with the project expected to contribute significantly to India’s renewable energy capacity. Waaree highlighted that the project will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote environmental sustainability in line with India’s clean energy goals.
