Yamuna Expressway to expand into eight lane

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority is planning to widen the six-lane Yamuna Expressway to eight lanes. The project is planned in anticipation of escalation in the traffic due to the proposed Jewar Airport Project. The Jewar Airport is expected to be operational by 2022.
