Yasho Industries Ltd, a prominent Indian company specializing in the manufacturing of specialty and fine chemicals, has announced the commencement of commercial production at its Pakhajan Plant located in Dahej District, Gujarat.
Spanning over 42 acres, the 20,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) unit has been established at an estimated cost of Rs. 470 crore, surpassing the originally planned budget of Rs. 400 crore. This upward revision in cost is attributed to the incorporation of enhanced automation to boost efficiency levels, a capacity increase of approximately 15%, and inflationary factors.
Mr. Parag Jhaveri, Managing Director & CEO of Yasho Industries, expressed his satisfaction with this development, stating, "We are pleased to announce the commencement of commercial production at our new facility, marking a significant advancement in our journey of growth." He emphasized that the expansive facility underscores the company's commitment to expanding its operational footprint and enhancing production capabilities. Jhaveri affirmed his confidence that the new facility would not only bolster Yasho's competitive position in the market but also provide the necessary scale and capabilities to propel the company to new heights. He added, "This will take us one step closer in our journey towards transforming Yasho into a leading global chemical manufacturer by offering best-in-class products."
